To continue honoring that mission and properly support the team members who bring it to life, we are writing to share an adjustment to our service pricing, effective immediately.

The Rationale Behind Our Pricing Update

We recently conducted a comprehensive market analysis of salon rates across Austin. During that evaluation, we discovered that our base pricing for Level 1 and Level 2 artists had actually fallen below standard rates charged at casual walk-in establishments like Birds.

Apotheca Lux was intentionally created as an elevated, high-touch luxury sanctuary. Upholding our standards and core values means ensuring our Level 1 and Level 2 artists are fairly and equitably compensated for their specialized training, craft, and dedicated time.

 

Easing the Transition: Early Holiday Gift Card Bonus

We recognize that price increases can feel sudden and jarring, and we never take your financial commitment to our chairs lightly. To help ease this transition and allow you to lock in significant savings on your upcoming visits, we are launching our annual holiday gift card promotion early this year.

 

Starting today through December 31, 2026:

• Receive 20% Bonus Cash on $125, $250, & $500 gift card purchases.

• Example: Purchase a $125 gift card and receive an additional $25 bonus credit; purchase a $250 gift card and receive a $50 bonus credit, and a purchase of $500 will receive a $100 bonus credit.

• These credits can be applied directly to your future service reservations and retail purchases.

While our base rates have adjusted, our commitment to transparent, genderless, all-inclusive pricing remains unchanged. We do not charge surprise add-ons at checkout for essential hair health needs.
